CCCB Resource Library
The CCCB Resource Library has over 2500 books, magazines, videos, children's books, and educational games available for loan to child care professionals in our region. Signing up to be a library member is easy, and materials may be taken out for three weeks at a time. Browse our library catalog to find the support you need for curriculum development, staff training, special needs, or program evaluation. The library is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Evenings and occasional Saturday hours are available by appointment.
Resource File
CCCB maintains a resource file with up-to-date information and articles on a wide variety of topics in early care and education. Programs needing an article to share with staff or parents are welcome to call with requests. Past requests have included toddler biting file is used frequently!
Classroom Support and Mentoring
Childcare providers and classroom teachers who are looking for support and mentoring to meet the individualized needs of their students may contact the Support Services Department to request assistance. Our Education/Disability Specialist are available to conduct any of the following services.
- Program Observations and Assessments
- Individual and Team Consultations
- Child focused observations and assessments intended to document a child's particular developmental and learning needs and bring the needed supportive services to the child, teacher and classroom. Please visit our Resources section to download the necessary request for services forms.
